All our trips at a glance
Now comes the hard part, deciding where you want to go!
If you were to ask us which trip is best, we simply wouldn’t be able to decide. We have chosen these destinations because we think they are among the most beautiful places on Earth, each offering unique and different experiences. All trips include approximately 250 miles of cycling, a half-day of hiking, and a day of rafting or kayaking, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy areas of interest in between and along the way.
If you have questions regarding any of our trips, please contact us. We are happy to provide further information that may help you decide which trip is best for you. Or, please feel free to join us on every one!
Colorado
Bikes, Boats & Boots has chosen the ultimate itinerary for your wild west adventure. Accommodations were selected for their first class amenities combined with Colorado charm. World class chefs, fabulous shopping, and extraordinary river walks are all within a short distance from your home away from home.
Hungary
We begin and end this 13 night/14 day adventure in the ancient land of Budapest, Hungary, a beautiful city where history is evident at every turn. Medieval Castles, beautiful stretches of wooded countryside, baroque villages, historic thermal spas, wineries, and museums will fill your days.
Austria
Zell am See-Kaprun will be our starting point on this Austrian adventure. The scenery from our bikes will include the cascading waterfalls of Krimmler, the City of Three Rivers. We’ll visit Eisriesenwelt, the largest ice cave in the world, as well as the roaring gorge of Leichtenstein. Further north our path travels through quiet meadows, the gothic town of Braunau, the 1000-year-old town of Obernberg, the Augustinian convent of Reichersberg, a baroque town of Scharding, and the Wernstein Castle.
Italy
We begin this tour with an optional three night stay in Milan before our nine day bike tour that begins on spectacular Lake Como. Our tour includes cycling and light hiking around Lake Como, biking through the Pusteria Valley, to the modern chic city of Cortina d’Ampezzo nestled below the Dolomite mountains, and through the beautiful Prosecco hills offering spectacular views of the vinyards. At the end of our tour you’ll have an optiona of staying on for a three day tour of Venice.
Croatia
True to Bikes, Boats & Boots’ style, we have designed two Croatian adventures — a Southern Route and a Coastal Route — that are sure to capture the quintessential charm of the Mediterranean. From the crystal clear blue Adriatic Sea, to the ancient fortresses overlooking the bay, and the most excellent food and friendly people, our Croatian experience is designed to please.
Slovenia
We begin this adventure in Slovenia’s capital city of Ljubljana, where social and environmental awareness has been a long tradition. In fact, Ljubljana was awarded the European Green Capital designation in 2016 by the European Commission. Here, we’ll spend a full day exploring the local architecture, rustic culture, and of course, delicious cuisine before our bike tour begins
