All reservations with Bikes, Boats & Boots Adventure
Travel, LLC, are subject to the following conditions:
Advance Reservations:
For certain trips we offer advance reservations arrangements. Trip details will be made available to all holders of advance reservations, who then have four weeks to confirm their reservations before trip booking is opened to the general public. An advance reservation must be accompanied by a $100 deposit, which ensures a priority booking position when the trip details are announced.
To confirm an advance reservation, a firm booking must be placed, accompanied by an additional $500 deposit. To cancel an advance reservation, a cancellation request must be submitted in writing within 15 days of the trip details being published. The $100 advance reservation deposit will be immediately refunded for any cancellations received within this 15-day period.
You may reserve any of our tours on-line by using our secure registration page. Complete the form and enter your credit card information for your down payment. Upon receipt of your initial payment we will send you a confirmation letter and additional trip information. The trip fee balance is payable by check or credit card and is due 90 days prior to the start of your trip. For trips to Europe, final payment is due 120 days prior to departure. Final payment is due upon confirmation for reservations made less then 90 days prior to departure.
Pricing:
Regardless of the number of people in your travel party, or the current foreign exchange rates, all prices are quoted in US dollars. This policy remains in effect if you are traveling as a single or with a group (we offer no tier pricing). Tour prices include all accommodations and are based on double occupancy per room for the duration of the trip. Depending on the amenities offered for each trip, some breakfasts may be included. Lunch is included when convenient stops are not available. Also included are: snacks and water, maps and route directions, luggage transfers, transportation to and from the airport, support vehicles (SAG), experienced and knowledgeable guides and outfitters, and equipment (such as bikes, kayaks, rafts, life jackets and other gear as deemed necessary). All fees described in the itinerary, such as park entrance fees, activity fees and ferry tickets, are also included.
Deposits:
To reserve a Bikes, Boats & Boots Adventure Travel trip a deposit of $500 per person is required. A reservation will not be considered final until all deposit fees are received.
Final Payment:
For trips in the USA, final payment is due 90 days prior to the departure date.
For trips to Europe, final payment is due 120 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy:
If for any reason you need to cancel a trip, the cancellation must be submitted in writing and signed by the participant. If you cancel a trip within 30 days of booking, we will refund your deposit, minus a $250.00 per person administrative fee. The following cancellation policies also apply: for trips cancelled between 61 and 90 days prior to departure, 25% of the original trip price will be charged; for trips cancelled between 31 and 60 days prior to departure, 75% of the original trip price will be charged; for trips cancelled between 0 and 30 days prior to departure, 100% of the original trip price will be charged.
Trip Alterations & Cancellations:
Bikes, Boats & Boots Adventure Travel reserves the right to make hotel and route modifications if necessary, and agrees to notify participants as soon as possible of any alterations in the itinerary. Bikes, Boats & Boots Adventure Travel reserves the right to cancel any trip, in which case all payments, including all deposits, will be refunded in full.
Insurance:
Each participant is responsible for obtaining adequate travel insurance, including, but not limited to, accident, personal injury, loss of luggage, and trip cancellation. Bikes, Boats & Boots Adventure Travel is explicitly not liable for non-refundable airline tickets and/or any other personal expenses incurred in preparation for a trip that is canceled for any reason.
There are certain risks and dangers in any form of adventure travel. Bikes Boats and Boots assumes no responsibility or liability for any claims or damages, for any reason, arising from these risks. Bikes, Boats & Boots assumes no responsibility for personal injury, death, damage to property or other loss arising from any accident, cancellation, delays or matters beyond our control.
Our Responsibility:
Bikes, Boats & Boots Adventure Travel has no personal liability, either primarily or secondarily, other than as the agent for the tour participant. Bikes, Boats & Boots Adventure Travel acts only in the capacity as an agent for the tour participant in all matters, including activities connected with lodging, services, activities and transportation. An Indemnity Agreement and Release form must be signed by each participant and returned prior to departure of the tour. If the signed release form is not signed, Bikes, Boats & Boots Adventure Travel has the right to consider the reservation cancelled and cancellation policies will apply.
